If you ask me, your skills for cards in vegas will bes be sharpened by practicing with real cards. Good luck, I hope you win.

you need to check the game rules, but most online blackjack programs run an automatic re-shuffle after every single hand. Which effectively kills the count.

But if its just a matter of practice then it might still be useful to getting used to getting the count quick. Remember though, you need to divide the count by the number of decks remaining to get the true count. You might want to practice this somehow too.

Card counting cannot work at most online sites like Facebook, since I believe they deal cards in a manner similar to a continuous shuffler. So to win there, you have to run into a lucky streak of cards. Playing there will sharpen your counting skills, but not your betting skills, since I am pretty sure the deck is contimuously shuffled.

If you are planning on a Vegas trip, better to practice with a few friends around the kitchen table. And be sure you set up a few distractions, there are many in Vegas.

While you are there playing blackjack, be sure to get a players card when you play, to get comps (freebies) for your playing time, and here is a way to get maximum comps:

However, there is a method of playing Blackjack that can provide an edge to the player that does not involve counting cards. It is called the Blackjack Betting Trigger, and it can inidcate when the probabilities are favorable to the player, indicating that you should raise your bet, and when they are unfavorable, indicating a bet reduction. It works well with multi-deck shoes.

You can get if for free through a special offer for a limited time, and more Information about the Blackjack Betting Trigger can be found here:

You cannot effectivly count cards against an online casino for the purpose of gaining an edge, That is not to say that it is the ideal place to practice, because it is since none of your money is in action.

You can learn and practice basic playing strategy at you can also practice counting although there is no deck they deal from, it is very similer to a casino dealing.
has a blackjack game that is very similer to a table full of player that you can practice counting on, in fact all fo the other players are real people too soo the pace of the game would be similer.

If you want the real deal, goto where you can buy their casino verite software. It was designed solely for use by card counters and you can adjust an almost infinate number of variable relevant to what you are tryign to practice, your counting system, the speed of the dealer, the rules of the game, you name it and it can do it. Its kinda pricey though.

Nope, you only get one hand and they reshuffle.

Cant do it. Its a counting machine that rotates so no possibility of counting. Try the land based casinos.
